This cake was made for a Pool Party held right before the 4th of July.! Naturally, I went with a theme of red, white & blue. I piped an alternating two-tier border of red, white & blue, and cut out mini gum paste red white and blue stars that I then dusted with sprinkles for some extra pop. I also cut out larger stars that I stuck onto toothpicks in the center of the cake.
