This cake was for my cousin Chrissy's 21st birthday! It was sort of a joke because he had a huge party with a campfire and my stepdad got really mad at him for burning his firewood..so naturally I thought I'd commemorate that moment in cake form. :) I simply baked a 9x13 chocolate cake and cut the cake into smaller rectangles of the size I wanted. I iced said "firewood" with different shades of brown to look more realistic and textured. I made the Natty Light can out of rice krispy treats molded and covered with silver gumpaste. I used edible marker to write on the can. The campfire flames are also made out of colored gumpaste rolled out and cut into flame shapes.!
